The space inside the Albion Hotel, 1650 James St., Miami Beach, is undergoing a complete overhaul for its newest venue Repour, opening Monday, Feb. 2.
Repour, pronounced “rapport,” is the brainchild of Miami mixologist Isaac Grillo, formerly of HaVen Lounge. He burst onto the cocktail scene several years ago at the W Hotel’s Living Room lounge, where Gabriel Orta and Elad Zvi of Bar Lab (The Broken Shaker and 27 Restaurant) were carving their niche, along with a small group of talented trendsetters, with the intro of the high-end cocktail concept to South Beach.

This is Repour, a cozy new hangout in the Albion off James Avenue on So-Be.
Isaac Grillo: "I really just wanted to open a place that was comfortable in the heart of South Beach and not be pretentious and still make badass drinks."
You can play pretentious if you like, pinkies up. It's tea for two but not like you're used to.

Isaac Grillo opened Repour Homemade Cocktails after searching for the right opportunity for years, telling New Times in an interview, "I've always wanted to open my own bar. I've been trying for years now, and this happened to work. It's a great location; it's a great opportunity. This is a new chapter for me. I'm pretty excited."

Repour Bar in Miami could be the most laid back bar in South Beach. Mixologist and owner Isaac Grillo opened cool cocktail spot in the Albion Hotel with a vision of bringing the mellow vibe of his home state, Colorado, to South Florida’s bustling beaches. The eclectic bar includes mix-matched couches, booze infused teas, and cocktails that use fruit and herbs from the hotel’s second floor garden, so it appears that Isaac has achieved his goal.

Pumpkin Old Fashioned at Repour
Repour's rendition of the old fashioned gets a boost from fall's favorite gourd and Afrohead rum. Expect housemade pumpkin syrup (from fresh pumpkin flesh) and hazelnut bitters with spicy pumpkin seeds for extra texture.
